Unterwegs im Nahverkehr
Streetfotografie… Unterwegs in den Straßen… nicht nur zu Fuß…
Er ist fester Bestandteil des öffentlichen Lebens … der öffentliche Personen- und Nahverkehr (ÖPNV). Verblüffend (zumindest für Berlinerinnen und Berliner) ist, dass Berlin im Ranking des besten Nahverkehrs 2023 auf Platz 1 vor Prag, Tokio, Kopenhagen und Stockholm gelandet ist. Das Meckern über Störungen und Verspätungen ist in der Stadt legendär… und hat täglich irgendwo auch seinen Anlass, wo Warten angesagt ist. Nichtsdestotrotz … man kommt in Berlin gut voran und zurecht mit Tram, Bus, U-Bahn und S-Bahn. Und mit der Bahn kommt man auch gut aus Berlin heraus… Für Hamburg gilt das übrigens auch – auch wenn ich dort in der Regel doch meist etwas länger auf die nächste Bahn warten muss.
Fotografisch eröffnet das lebhafte Treiben in den Bahnen spannende Momente. Ich mag diese Spots in den Zügen sehr.
Street photography… Out and about in the streets… not just on foot…
It is an integral part of public life… public transport and local transport. What is astonishing (at least for Berliners) is that Berlin landed in first place in the ranking of the best local transport in 2023, ahead of Prague, Tokyo, Copenhagen and Stockholm. Complaining about disruptions and delays is legendary in the city… and every day there is a reason to wait somewhere. Nevertheless… it’s easy to get around in Berlin using the tram, bus, subway and S-Bahn. And it’s easy to get out of Berlin by train… This also applies to Hamburg – even though I usually have to wait a little longer for the next train there.
Photographically, the lively hustle and bustle on the trains creates exciting moments. I really like these spots on the trains.
