Flüchtige Momente im Vorbeifahren
Diese Fotoserie ist während der Bewegung entstanden – aus fahrenden Zügen, Autos oder Bussen heraus. Der Blick schweift hinaus, verliert sich in der vorbeiziehenden Landschaft, in Stadtfragmenten, Baustellen, Wäldern, Bahnhöfen, Lichtern. Die Scheibe dazwischen spiegelt Innen und Außen, verbindet und trennt gleichzeitig.
Die Kamera wird dabei zum Begleiter – nicht mit dem Anspruch, das perfekte Bild zu machen, sondern um festzuhalten, was sich im Augenblick zeigt. Orte, die nur für einen Moment sichtbar sind, dann wieder verschwinden. Bilder, die genauso sehr vom Unterwegssein erzählen wie vom Vergehen.
Es geht um Bewegung, aber auch um Stillstand in der Bewegung – um diesen kurzen Moment der Konzentration, wenn das Licht richtig fällt, wenn eine Spiegelung entsteht, wenn etwas scheinbar Zufälliges kurz Bedeutung bekommt.
Diese Serie ist eine Annäherung an das, was wir sonst oft nur beiläufig wahrnehmen: Das Dazwischen, das Nicht-Ganz-Hier-und-noch-nicht-Dort. Flüchtige Eindrücke, die in ihrer Unschärfe oft mehr erzählen als ein scharf gesetzter Blick.

This series of photos was created during the movement – from moving trains, cars or buses. The gaze wanders out, loses in the passing landscape, in city fragments, construction sites, forests, train stations, lights. The disc in between reflects inside and outside, connects and separates at the same time.
The camera becomes a companion – not with the claim to take the perfect picture, but to keep what is shown at the moment. Places that are only visible for a moment then disappear again. Pictures that tell as much about being on the road as of the offense.
It is about movement, but also about standstill in the movement – about this short moment of concentration if the light falls correctly when a reflection arises when something seems to be random.
This series is an approximation of what we often only perceive in casual: the in between, the non-Ganz-hier-and-noch-not-dort. Fleeting impressions that often tell more in their blurring than a sharply set.
